Welcome back to this amazing American Idols Live blog that is dissecting this show as we speak! So what’s the latest to befall our favorite TV talent show? What devilish goings on can we bring for your eyes this week?

Ok, they got rid of the last girl on the show. NOOOOOO! Well, if that don’t beat everything. All the red blooded males in the audience (the straight ones, anyway) will be mourning the loss of Allison and probably won’t bother to watch the show again. Well, let’s face it, with no decent chicks to gaze at, what’s the point? Ha! We can go back to watching Lost and Star Trek, football, ice hockey and basket ball and whatever else it is we like to watch.

So the show is now just for the girls and the gays to swoon over the last three remaining boys who, I have to admit have been singing their hearts out to get to this late stage in the proceedings. So if you really need telling who the last three remaining contestants are in this American Idol season, here is the short, and I do mean short list below!

1. Adam Lambert
2. Danny Gokey
3. Kris Allen

Bye by Allison! you had a great run up, but it was your turn to leave the show this time out! We all (and by that I mean us blokes) will miss you sorely and secretly thank the powers that be that we can now get back to the ball game and drink some cold beer! What’s in store with the last three boys in the next episode, I wonder…

And another talented youngster leaves the American Idol finals as they’re really hotting up. Now is a really bad time to be voted off the show having come so far and with the ultimate prize firmly in your sights, but for one unlucky finalist, this had to be their last show.

So out of the remaining five that lined up to do vocal battle with each other on Tuesday night’s show, which one didn’t make the grade with the judges, Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi? well, I can tell you it was a hotly contested round and all five finalists sang their hearts out.

Well, sometimes it doesn’t matter how good you are, there comes a time when talent and good looks will only carry you so far and it’s down to the decision of the panel of judges as to whether you get the chance to sing another day, or fall by the wayside. The last episode’s fall guy was really no worse than the other four, but it was just a matter of someone had to be the one to go and it was the time for:

Matt Giraud

to leave the show. Understandably upset at the decision, he took it like a man and I’m sure he will go on to bigger and better things as so often happens with losing finalists in big talen shows liek American Idol.

That leaves the last four lineup as:
