American Idols Live can bring you some more incredible news on this year’s TV talent show extravaganza. American Idol makes it perfectly clear that Kris Allen is definitely the winner of this season’s show!

Amidst growing controversy that AT&T helped to rig this season’s American Idol results, the show wants to make it clear:

Kris Allen is definitely the champion.

Earlier yesterday Fox, American Idol producers 19 Entertainment and Fremantle Media issued the following statement:

“Fox and the producers of American Idol are absolutely certain that the results of this competition are fair, accurate and verified. Kris Allen is, without a doubt, the American Idol. We have an independent third-party monitoring procedure in place to ensure the integrity of the voting process. In no way did any individuals unfairly influence the outcome of the competition.”

So now we know for absolutely certain that Kris Allen really won American Idol. So what’s up next in his fledgling carreer in the entertainment business? A debut album perhaps?

AT&T also defended itself:

“Last week, countless parties were held in homes, bars, and other public places across America to watch the American Idol finale. In Arkansas, a few local AT&T employees were invited to attend two local watch parties organized by the community. Caught up in the enthusiasm of rooting for their hometown contestant, they brought a small number of demo phones with them and provided texting tutorials to those who were interested.

“Going forward, we will make sure our employees understand our sponsorship celebrates the competition, not individual contestants. That said, it’s quite a leap to suggest that a few individuals could have impacted the final results.”

Here at American Idols Live, we have the most incredible news to bring you on the result of the long awaited final of this year’s American Idol, season 8. It has upset a lot of predictions and those who firmly believed the runaway favorite for this contest would naturally win with flying colors. But it wasn’t to be. Instead…

Kris Allen Won American Idol

That’s right, Kris Allen was crowned American Idol 2009 last night to a rapturous aplause from the stunned audience. So how did he do it?

Kris Allen had to face the likes of Lil Rounds, Adam Lambert and Danny Gokey all of whom were receiving a ton of screen time throughout the early auditions. They were the clear favorites as the real competition started to get going. Yet against the odds, this lone dark horse emerged victorious. So how did season 8’s David manage to slay the many Goliaths? There are five pretty simple reasons why he succeeded and attained victory.

1. Likability
Adam Lambert may have the huge voice and wild life, which is exciting but it’s not too easy to relate to. Alternatively, Kris Allen, is charming and disarming. His down to earth attitude makes people like him even more.

2. Cute-ability
Simon Cowell criticized him early on for being married, that fact didn’t stop Kris Allen winning over people with his down-home good looks that made women swoon. He’s pretty but not metrosexual, handsome but not hunky and youthful but not a tween. Kris Allen’s the adorable guy of season 8, fact.

3. Multiple Talents
With American Idol allowing contestants to use instruments, those that did had a great advantage. Adam Lambert sang three songs in his final performance. Kris Allen sang and played the guitar and piano, displaying his great range and versatility as a musician.

4. Going Last
Its a known fact that going last in any competition gives the performer a huge advantage. By leaving that all important last impression, can make or break a performer’s outcome. While Adam Lambert was OK, Kris Allen got to sing the same song last and it dancing around in voters’ minds before they texted in their votes.

So there you have it folks, another season over with and a new winner who will doubtless go onto bigger and better things. Hats off to Kris Allen, winner of American Idol season 8 for 2009!

Oh yeah, it was a thriller all right! Here at American Idols Live, we witnessed the demise of one talented young man to leave two even more talented young men to battle it out in the grand finale next week.

So what is the news on American Idol that so stunned the world? Well, actually it came as no real shock to find that Danny Gokey was eliminated this time around. The two firm favorites were predictably sent through while Danny made his exit from the show last night. We are expecting big things to come from the last night in this season. Adam Lambert and Kris Allen are both highly talented singers who will give each other a real fight to see who comes out on top.

Ok, we all know that the firm favorite is Adam Lambert and there’s no getting away from the fact that the adds are really stacked in his favor to win. But upsets can happen and Kris Allen could suddenly find a second wind that will enable him to sail past the judges and audience to take the crown!

So, just in case you didn’t read the last paragraph or two, or just like looking at the pictures and glancing at the short stuff, the two big names remaining in the show are:

1. Adam Lambert
2. Kris Allen

Bye bye Danny! It was swell knowing you and all that but when you gotta go, you gotta go! You were a great talent that was unfortunately eclipsed by the show’s favorites and there probably wasn’t much you could have dome about it save for resorting to underhand measures. But you are a true sport and took it like a man. What’s the final going to be like, we wonder?
